About Okanagan Wine Club
The Okanagan Wine Club consists of wine lovers just like you. The packages suite everyone, whether you are an experienced connoisseur, or a novice who is just beginning to appreciate the wonders of wine. You also have the freedom to choose a package to your preference, whether it's red wine, white wine, or both. The O.K. Wine Club was started so that the delicious wealth of wine in the Okanagan can be shared with everyone, and it is delivered right to your doorstep. Our location in Kelowna is perfect for this opportunity because we are in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, which gives us access to all of the amazing wineries.
The Okanagan: Our History
There are over 70 wineries in the Okanagan area, hard to believe when there was only 12 wineries in 1988. The wine industry has boomed, wine proprieters have realized that this is a vibrant and profitable region. The weather here is perfect for many varieties of grapes, the south is hot and sandy, good for wines like Chardonnay and Merlot. The north is cooler, with deep top soil and clay which is used for varieties like Pinot Noir and Gewurtztraminer.
